a small tale about 2 Peas Refugees and shopping aka enabling

Have you ever rec'd a package and was not sure if you ordered it.  Yeah, that happened to me.  I could not remember buying these stamps.  I even called the seller...and then I did remember.  I think it was a 2Peas thread...someone linked to the feather stamp...and I looked around and also picked up the umbrella ...thinking I want to do something 'artsy'.  Funny thing, I usually stay away from black out type stamps.  But forgot I ordered.

And these were from a thread kinda making fun of the name...but when I saw the tarnished silver effect...done!  don't know what I will do with them yet....Also another hidden danger, the post-er linked them to A Cherry On Top...a shopping site I never visited before.  Well, yesterday I decided my cardstock supply is getting low.  Okay, when I worked on a layout and could not find a true white in the stack....so  $50 later, I am getting a selection of cardstock.   Bazzill Smoothies.  Oh, and they are on sale.... (my turn to enable)

Off note, not shopping related...here is my grandson last week...it hit me, wouldn't these be wonderful colors for a scrapbook page?  The gray, cream, navy with touches of lime green...or even the orange.  While posting I noticed the perfect capture of a drool....almost did not post the pic.   Then thought, hey that could represent a clear embellie...ha!!!

Such a bunch of enablers over at 2 peas! Love that pic, can't wait to see the layout you make with it!

I, too, have bought things based on online enablers pictures. I love your writing style; very fun.

I sometimes get packages and don't remember I ordered anything. Once I open it up though, I always remember.

I also have a blackout stamp. I've yet to use it on a card or page.

I'm the opposite, I'm always waiting my packages to arrive. Why can't it be instantaneous delivery?!

Love the dgs photo. I think the capture of drool is perfect! Can't wait to see what you create with it.
